This weeks top tip:

When pressing your seams do not open up the seams. Pressing them flat and to one side helps to keep the block stronger and also makes it look neater on the reverse so it will lie flatter. Usually the seam is pressed toward the darker fabric. This may not always be possible as sometimes they will need to be pressed the other way so that they lie flat when the block is assembled.
