This range has been inspired by the strong style and artistic individuality of Clarice Cliff, the most prolific ceramic designer of her generation of the thirties. There are 6 all-over designs, as well as a panel of 6” squares containing 5 different scenes. All these have metallic gold on them and team up beautifully with the selected tonal stripe. The panel is inspired by landscape designs and set in a circle within a square, the theme of which has been picked up in an all-over design of trees, houses and rolling hills. Realistic crocuses and nasturtiums contrast with stylised and abstracted flowers and set with stripes and spots.
